Corewell Health Medicare Premium Management Coordinator Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan
This is a hybrid position. The requirements for this role average 2 days per month onsite at the GR location.

Job Summary
This position assists in the completion of premium billing functions including timely and accurate invoicing, account reconciliation, and collections. Investigates and resolves payment discrepancies and prepares appropriate balancing documents.
Essential Functions
Processes and/or reconciles premium payments to maintain timely cash flow and accurate account balances. Meets audit expectations, as determined by department.
Ensures payer and governmental agency regulatory and compliance requirements are consistently followed and applied.
Performs collections activities for unpaid premiums including running and working related collections reports, issuing collections letters, terminating and reinstating.
Analyzes assigned accounts receivable portfolio and takes appropriate action to ensure compliant, timely resolution of payment and account balance discrepancies.
Provides excellent customer service by effectively communicating with internal and external customers.
Performs basic account reconciliation work.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of relevant experience in a billing, account management, or finance related field
Preferred
Associate's Degree in Business/Finance
1 year of relevant experience in the health care or heath plan industry
