Description We are in search of a Software Engineer with a focus on Azure Development located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom provider industry. You will be involved in designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing APIs, as well as collaborating with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Microsoft Azure Durable Function Apps, Function Apps, Cosmos Db, Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.

• Leverage Confluent Kafka development skills, preferably in .NET and C#

• Adhere to the company's software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs

• Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents

• Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provide feedback

• Collaborate with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency in the software development process

• Participate in architecture design and code reviews

• Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation

• Use skills such as .NET, API Development, SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle, Debug Application, Code Review, Design Documents, Apache Kafka, System Level, Service Bus, and Technical Design Specification to fulfill job duties. Requirements • Proficiency in software development and design, with a particular focus on .NET and API Development.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and database management.

• Familiarity with R Code, Apache Kafka, Service Bus, and related technologies.

• Experience with SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle is essential.

• Ability to debug applications and conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards.

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical design specifications and design documents.

• Proficiency in system-level design and service-oriented architecture.

• Exceptional skills in documentation to ensure clarity and ease of use for all software and systems.

• Commitment to quality assurance, ensuring all software meets the highest standards before deployment.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with other departments.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

• Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
