Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

• Responsibility for all financial tasks and administration for the UKI Marketing and Communications team

• Includes monthly/quarterly/annual analysis of variances against budget, forecast, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives across all investments (e.g. purchase order management, monthly accruals review, forecasting, finance tool ownership and reporting)

• Responsibility for end to end monthly, quarterly and annual close process, working cross-functionally across the marketing and communications team to ensure all information accurately logged, and collaboration with European and Global colleagues on variance alignment

• Manages and executes on financial requests from month to month, based on varying commitments across Europe

• Supports strategic planning by providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders, while developing robust tracking mechanisms to ensure solid financial planning delivery now and in the future

• Drives the annual budget exercise (commences June each year), quarterly tracking & forecast cycles, enabling efficient & effective execution of key strategic deliverables and existing financial commitments, inc all third parties and partners, further supporting with reporting and reconciliation

• Responds promptly to ad-hoc requests for information and analysis. Develops and/or continues improve in-region and corporate financial analysis and reporting

• Executes on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling

• Reviews and suggests way to optimise financial systems.
