University Of Northern Colorado Assistant Professor of Finance - Investment/Portfolio Mgmt. in Greeley, Colorado
Job Duties: Teach finance courses at the undergraduate and/or master's level. Primary teaching needs are in investments, principles of finance, corporate finance, and derivatives at the undergraduate and MBA levels. Tenure-track position course load includes teaching three courses (9 credit hours) per semester.
Courses taught may include: Business Finance; Student and Foundation Fund; and Investments. Additional duties include engaging in high-quality research and scholarly activities, and participating in professional, university, and community service.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Education Requirement: Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field. Employer will accept ABD at the time of start date.
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Must have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching university finance courses. Must have also demonstrated potential for excellence in engaging in high-quality research and scholarly activity.
Offered salary range $122,000.00 to $132,000.00 per year. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges.
