About the position:

We’re looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Project Specialist plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects that typically have functional impact. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, refers more complex issues to others. Leads and directs the work of others. Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment commonly found in industrial facilities, grounds and associated services (electricity, gas, water/sewer, process utilities, building automation system, etc.)

You will:

  • Analyzes general requirements and develops project specifications.
  • Reviews more complex reports and data. Provides analysis, summaries, and resulting action plans.
  • Exchanges information and resolves issues with senior-level staff inside and outside the Company over a variety of project related issues.
  • Provides leadership, support and advice in order to successfully complete projects. Analyzes current practices/procedures and makes recommendations/decisions for change.
  • Maintains records with appropriate supporting material. Updates records as necessary.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
  • Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork.

About you:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Two or more years of project management experience is required.

It would be great if you had:

  • A broad knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures relating to the project/program management fields.
  • Program Management Experience is preferred
  • Strong project management skills including, but not limited to:

  • Planning and organization

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to transition between projects
  • Leadership
  • Coaching
  • Managing and improving team dynamics
  • Developing and tracking project budgets
  • Process improvement
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management software

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $60,406 - $85,740 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
