This position must be in the following Northeast states, near a major airport: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

The Role

  • As Regional Vice President-NE Region, you will lead the execution of the business strategy, and you will manage the Volvo Trucks portfolio, including P&L responsibility, product offering and providing high-quality services to our customer base through our dealer network.

  • You will lead Volvo Trucks Sales & Marketing team directly with Sales And marketing team with functional responsibility with dual functions of Parts, Service, Finance, Dealer Development and Remarketing teams. Through these teams you will design and implement decided strategies, actions, and tools thus leading an effective and efficient trucks sales and service sales business.

  • Your responsibility includes the fulfilment of financial (sales, GP, S&A, over-due and inventories) and operational (market share, retail performance, customer satisfaction) KPI's, according to Volvo Trucks framework, monitoring performance and providing reporting analysis upon request.

  • You will drive the engagement of dealers to improve brand image and customer satisfaction.

  • Included will be attracting, developing, and retaining talent and securing and allocating necessary resources to carry out the execution plan.

  • You will be a present leader who enables the development of motivating and relevant objectives and follows up the performance systematically, supporting and coaching the ultimate success of the employees and the business.

Who are you?

Your Profile:

  • In-depth understanding of the truck sales business model, the retail business environment, and customer needs.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field with 10-15 years within heavy duty truck related experience. MBA preferred.

  • Senior line management and P&L experience and proven leadership experience of cross functional teams.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Experience in leading and coaching teams to perform and transform

  • Ability to work successfully in a global organization and intercultural context

  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and facilitation

  • Demonstrating a high level of competence in our Volvo Leadership Principles: Leading with Passion, Performing with Purpose and Transforming with Vision.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base salary range is set at $178,400 to $256,515 and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
