Scott Electric Company is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Full-Time Data Analyst M-F 8 am-5 pm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis with a

passion for deriving actionable insights from datasets. This role will play a key part in

data-driven decision-making and optimizing business processes.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Preparation:

  • Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

    Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

  • Interpret findings and communicate key insights to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.

    Business Insights and Recommendations:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and requirements.

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business improvement and strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing ongoing analysis and recommendations for optimization.

    Data Visualization and Communication:

  • Develop visually compelling dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Birst, F9, Phocas BI, Tableau, or BI.

  • Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.

  • Facilitate data-driven discussions and workshops to promote a culture of analytics within the organization.

    Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and related fields.

  • Actively seek opportunities for skill development and knowledge enhancement through training, certifications, and self-study.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in data analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Birst, F9, Phocas BI, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous.

  • Day Shift 8 am- 5 pm
