SUMMARY: Assists Maintenance Mechanic in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment by performing the following Duties: Inspect all tires on cars and trucks for proper tread deep to ensure that they are safe to operate. Inspect tires on all heavy trucks and replace them in a timely manner so they can be recapped. Repair tires on vehicles and equipment. Performs other routine duties. Clean work area, tools, and equipment. Inspect wheels and tires. Check air pressure. Repair flats on various vehicles and equipment. Replace tires on all vehicles.
