Robert Half Accounts Payable Lead Greenville, SC in Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves supporting the global Invoice-to-Pay strategy and process, handling AP related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The position is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the office three days a week and the ability to work from home two days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve issues related to returned payments, in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Handle all AP related inquiries both internally and externally

• Comply with all audit requirements, internal control, and SOX standards, supporting and maintaining AP processes

• Maintain relationships between the Shared Service Center, internal Sourcing/Procurement, and external suppliers

• Manage all paper correspondence including invoices with scanning resources/technology

• Serve as the primary escalation point for all AP-related issues and concerns, working with partners and internal stakeholders to resolve issues

• Understand and resolve issues with supplier payment programs and processes

• Monitor and address banking emails and issues, collaborating with IT-FICO and Treasury teams when required

• Assist Global Process Owner with management, reviewing, and monitoring of all AP reporting and dashboards

• Evaluate and recommend opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency, performance, and cash flow. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) roles

• Proficiency in invoice processing and payment procedures

• Knowledge of general ledger principles and reconciliations

• Familiarity with collection processes and correspondence

• Strong skills in policy interpretation and implementation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to produce clear and accurate reports

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) administration is a plus

• Familiarity with finance and audit procedures

• Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures

• Experience in stakeholder management and partnership building

• Proficiency in using monitoring tools and KPI reporting

• Ability to improve processes and productivity

• Familiarity with scanning and paper management processes

• Proven ability to resolve issues effectively

• Experience in workstation support is a plus.
