About the role

As a CBRE Digital & Technology Management Manager, you will oversee a small team that focuses on the design, development, and administration of basic applications.

This job is part of the Digital Strategy and Innovation job function. They are responsible for overseeing the implementation of new digital e-business options.

What you’ll do

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and crosstrain staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Execute the organization's digital strategy and manage the digital roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Build Account Technology roadmap and provide feedback on needs to Digital & Technology and Data Analytics platform teams.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure initiatives integrate with the company's technology infrastructure.

  • Track and report the performance of department initiatives.

  • Document procedures and standards and identify where procedures are not aligned with business or audit standard controls.

  • Provide tiered digital & technology support for end users. Troubleshoot technical problems such as application performance issues or network connectivity problems.

  • Research application development, infrastructure, or service standards.

  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Design, generate, review, analyze and understand business analytics and reporting visualizations and how they enable business functions. Use aggregate data from multiple sources to create complete analysis via development of new dashboards and enhancements using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

  • Partner with Account leadership team on oversight of delivery of CBRE computers, mobile phones and tablets as appropriate to the Account team.

  • Maintain the Account’s Technology budgets, forecasts and provide input to Account Finance team.

  • Responsible for governance of Account technology solutions including enhancements and data governance as well as ownership of policies and procedures, audits and Information Security and Risk Assessments.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
