This is a full-time role with our office in Greenville, SC. 

Who we are looking for:

The LSS Engineer for the Ecomm department is responsible to create solutions for current process issues at the Ecomm department with the goal to streamline information flow and product flow to give a better service to our customers and enhance customer experience through the Ecomm Channel.

The engineer will also look proactively to ways to improve the Ecomm processes to reduce variances in the service provided and reduce bad customer experience. This will be a constant in the daily work as the engineer will look every day for ways to improve current processes to reach excellence, using the tools provided by the company.

Will develop process flow maps that will provide a clear view of the process flow for proper analysis and will propose changes that could drive to better information flow through the department that will ultimately result in a better customer experience.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain).

  • 3-5 years’ experience in ecommerce related operations or process improvement.  

  • Inventory control, WMS, SAP, ERP’s, Sales. Power Platform knowledge.

  • Expert in Excel and Power Platforms.

  • Experience retrieving insights/reports from data portals (Business Intelligence, etc.) and ERP systems (order management, allocations, shipments).

  • ERP’s (i.e. SAP),  WMS (WMi/Deposco), RPAs (UiPath/ Power Automate) (Not essential but preferable)

  • Knowledge of eCommerce Platforms (Shopify).  Not required, but a plus.

  • Proactive problem solving with great communication and collaborative skills.

  • Driving cross-organizational collaboration to enhance procedures.

  • Experience influencing and driving decision-making through fact-based analysis and rationale.

  • Able to extract big picture results from details only found in data details.

  • Automation Oriented.

    What You'll Do:

  • Analyze and map current Ecomm department processes.

    Will analyze and map current processes in the Ecomm department based on the priority provided by management team. Gather the data needed to define success of the process and determine if the process is successful based on the parameters created. Will work closely with management to decide if the parameters created are true representatives of the business goals on the area analyzed.

    Create a process flow that would provide a clear view of the process and a clean way to analyze possible opportunities in the process.

     

  • Propose Process Improvement opportunities.

    Based on the analysis of current process and proper mapping, create a process improvement proposal with clear and quantifiable goals that are aligned with the company goals. Propose the change and propose a road map to implement the change.

    The proposals can be, but will not be limited to, automation, app creation, business intelligence, data analysis for faster reaction times.

     

  • Process improvements implementation.

    The engineer will be responsible for following the road map of the process improvement proposals. Set the time goal on the completion of the process improvement project. Based on the definition of the problem an analysis, get the involved departments aligned with the goal and with the project.

    Manage the resources and time to develop the tools used in the project (RPAs/Apps/Reports) and the information flow, so that the project is finished and implemented successfully.

     

  • Control the Implemented Improvements

    Once the implementation is completed, the engineer will be responsible for making sure that the quantifiable goals are being met to ensure that the project was a success. Once the project is considered a success the engineer will be in charge of delegating the control of the project to a process owner that will make sure that the metric is met so we keep consistent with the company goals.
