Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Group Leader Capacitor Assembler - 3rd shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.20 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Group Leader – Capacitor Assembler (3rd Shift)

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Group Leader – Capacitor Assembler in MFG Production Assembly to join our team. This position is based at our Greenwood-Emerald Rd. facility.

The Group Leader – Capacitor Assembler is responsible for providing guidance and direction for team and team leads to accomplish compliance in Safety, Quality and Production expectations. Perform direct labor work within your area of responsibility, assembly, fabrication, or support function roles. They must be able to work closely withr the Operators, Production Supervisor and Plant Staff to maintain an efficient flow of production. Work Safely to prevent on-the-job injuries. Report on-the-job injuries and unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.

• You will assist in planning and directing the manufacturing of orders to schedule.

• You will provide training, instruction, and production-related guidance to employees.

• You will establish schedule for employees to review standard work and method sheets at each assigned workstation. Update the documents and determine who will coordinate with supervision, OpEx, or Management.

• You will encourage team to continuously improve Safety, Quality and Lean.

• You will maintain high levels of quality in assigned areas of functional responsibility.

• You will assist Operations in responding positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages and varying manpower requirements.

• You will work closely with Quality teams to ensure the continuing application of EQS standards to products and work processes.

• You will lead daily Tier 1 meetings usually after the initial start of shift meeting, after lunch, and after break to share goal results throughout the day.

• You will ensure the Visual Boards are continuously maintained to include variances.

• You will provide guidance and direction to employees to ensure compliance with 5S+ at the start of each shift and 5S+ at the end of every shift.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment performing complex assembly, wiring, fitting and modification work.

• 1 year of experience utilizing precision measuring instruments.

• 1 year of experience reading wiring schematics and diagrams, and blueprints.

• Must have strong computer skills and ability to learn/use SAP
