Job description
We are looking for workers experienced with working with Class A and GSC Metal Finishing in the Spartanburg/Union areas. Qualified candidates will need to apply with a resume and interview with us.
Key ResponsibilitiesFile, sand, de-burrPerform assigned duties using manual, pneumatic and electric hand tools and machines;Manipulate work piece or tool manually;Develop and/or recommend techniques for Class A rework without fillersInspect and measure work piece to verify conformance to specificationsWork in a fast paced environment while keeping up with production demandsTrain Press line, Assembly, Quality and 3rd party inspectors on Defect Recognition and Surface RequirementsDocument daily rework according to company standardsPromote all company policies and proceduresMaintain a safe and clean work environment according to 5S methods
Experience: A minimum of one year experience in metal finishing preferred. Finishing products by grinding, deburring, filing, sanding, polishing to the quality level required. Able to work with various materials; Aluminum and stainless steel
Qualifications: Great Attitude. Able to work well with others. Reliable and on-time. Ability to stand for 8 hours. Can lift up to 50 pounds. Great attention to detail. Able to do repetitive tasks and follow instructions well. Flexibility and the skill to multi-task.
Tools:Must have own hand tools. DA (Dual-action sander), Grinder, hand tools, etc.
- 1st shift - 6:45am till 3pm
- 2nd shift - 2:45pm till 11pm
- 3rd shift - 10:45 till 7am
