The team you will be a part of

The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization's computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary

Lead day-to-day IT support to manage Finance, accounting, month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and intercompany finance processes for the EMEA entities, including the UK.

Your responsibilities will include

• Provide IT support in the preparation, review, and filing of statutory financial statements for European entities

• Co-ordination with 3rd parties IT applications, management of deliverables in line with engagement agreements, and management of fees

• Provide IT support to the finance functions to manage Entity level income statements and balance sheets

• Provide IT support for the maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies within the European region

• Provide IT support to intercompany accounting and oversee the recording of entries between group companies

• Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements, for both direct and indirect taxes, across Europe

• Management of day-to-day IT finance operations in Europe as required

• Other ad hoc finance projects as directed, e.g., analysis of new products and expansions in Europe

• Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and achievement of desired outcomes

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• Intercompany accounting experience is preferable

• Exposure to transfer pricing and indirect taxes is preferable

• Experience working as a liaison between a technical team, functional and end users

• Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex cross-functional issues to multiple audiences

Preferred skills and experiences

• MBA or Masters in computer science or related field

• SAP S4 HANA Experience

• Experience in developing a data modeling strategy

• PMP or Scrum certification

• Preferred languages English/Dutch/Italian
