Job Description

SSC Finance at Danfoss Poland is seeking a highly motivated candidate who is driven by process standardization and optimization on a global scale.

As our R2R/GL Process Expert you will act as an accounting expert facilitating and supporting global projects within accounting and reporting function, support system implementations, transitions and migrations.

Background & Skills

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration,

  • 5+ years of experience in finance & accounting roles, with a focus on handling accounting matters within the R2R processes of Shared Service Center,

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations relevant to R2R processes

  • English at B2/C1 (another European language is welcome)

  • Solid ERP SAP systems understanding as a must

  • Being curious and would like to understand how the things work,

  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work independently and able to determine information needed to resolve more complex issues,

  • Self-starter – performing assigned tasks without close supervision, identifies pro-actively areas for actions,

  • Proven experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis within GL/R2R processes

  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-development/research need to execute the same,

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Project management skills are an asset.

Job Responsibilities

You will be the first point of contact responsible for the following key tasks, among others:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert for R2R related process, working across all entities within SSC Poland scope,cooperatingwith Global SME Community, R2R Global Process Owner, R2R Manager or across other SSC Workstreams,

  • Participate in delivery of projects focused on standardization, efficiency and system/robotics implementation,

  • Proactively assisting R2R Management Team to identify any areas of improvement or root cause analysis to help maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations or E2E processes,

  • Participate or lead the implementation of identified improvement initiatives,

  • Provide expertise and support on technical accounting matters related to R2R processes,

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting challenges specific to R2R,

  • Provide support, guidance, and training to accounting staff within the R2R workstream,

  • ERP`s implementation activities like trainings &testing,

  • Collaborate with DAP team to introduce technology solutions and solve technical issues related to systems and tools,

  • Follow-up on KPI’s & secure corrective actions,

  • Process instructions & procedures writing,

  • Acting as a backup to R2R processes, if needed
