About you:
We are looking for a person responsible for E2E planning for the category. This covers Demand mastery (from Depletion and shipment to production Orders), Liquid production MPS, Bottling MPS, DRP and dry goods supply MRP to deliver the expected volume required sourced for this category.
Leads the S&OP with key markets and covers the globe (Innovation review, Demand review, Supply review and Executive review). Needs to master the portfolio of innovations to ensure they are coordinated in business plan, supply plan and financial plan through S&OP process.
Owns digital capability development of his organization in line with Category ambition and skill requirements. Leads the Category capability and maturity development plan.
Looks for best service at affordable cost and cash to deliver NSV and GM expected by the company. The Category Planning Manager owns the operating strategy for his category to deliver business objectives short term (18 month) and long-term (10 years).
About the role:
Owns the definition/renewal of the Category Operating Strategy (COS)
Accountable for Case Fill Rate/OTIFNE Results
Lead S&OP for the category
Accountable for overall Inventory Management; including SLOBS
Drives long-term capacity decisions via Long Term Capacity Planning
Ensures sufficiency of Category Business Continuity Plans
Masters segmentation for his category
Masters Category demand for 18 months minimum and 10 years
Masters category innovation portfolio and alignment to COS
Master category supply plan and secure C/D compliance to COS.
Lead Executive reviews for his brand/sub-category
Owns SKU efficiency and gate control for new SKU/format creation via I&BC
Engage on any business potential issue to help/lead driving resolution (Quality incidents, internal control issues, strikes, and BCP activation across the E2E supply chain, etc.).
Right Supply Base with procurement
Right Manufacturing Network (DIAGEO sites/Co-maker’s) to optimize cash and cost driving ‘speed to market’ and service
Right Customization choices to meet markets/customer needs if needed
Address any supply disruption or conflict situation through consensus solutions or recommendations for critical issues.
Represent Supply in leading the RCCP process, balancing demand and supply signals whilst ensuring strategy and annual targets can be delivered.
Accelerate organization capability development
Develop and deploy a digital disruption/improvement plan.
Lead and embed continuous improvement agenda using run-to-target methodology across multifunctional teams enabling effective delivery of performance improvement plans prioritized by business targets.
Track progress of maturity improvement plan and course correct to consistently ensure projected benefits are achieved.
Coach, mentor and develop Category planning team.
Represents commercial teams within product supply and represents product supply within category commercial teams.

Experience/ skills required
8 years of supply Chain planning experience in CPG.
English & Spanish fluent
Additionally, some wider cross-planning experience is preferable e.g. I&BC, DRP, CS, manufacturing
Team management experience is required
Proficient in MS applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Proficient in virtual team applications e.g. zoom, Quip, TRACC,
Proficient in analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, MashZone
Proficient in planning tools: SAP APO, robot, OMP
