This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

Compensation : $24.27/hr

Shift Available: Swing (Day/night)

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operate all equipment associated with the barge unloading process: including drags and conveyors.

  • Operate computer programs needed to load/unload barges, railroad cars, trucks and skid steer.

  • Train and operate equipment associated with the Elevator process: including drags, conveyors, and truck dump. Load meal, oil and hull products into barges, railroad cars and trucks.

  • Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect and analyze samples for several process areas.

  • Enter confined spaces under proper permit conditions and supervision: including dust collectors, barges and bean tanks.

  • Perform light maintenance, such as replacing valves, troubleshooting conveyors and pumps.

  • Complete housekeeping assignments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Must be able to operate machineryand/or industrial equipment

  • Ability to work overtime includingweekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certified.

  • Prior experience in production related work
