Job Description:

• Determine the design and workout strategy for new projects. Lead the Project lifecycle closely following Governance models.

• Identify and resolve issues reported within defines SLAs part of routine maintenance of existing applications built in SharePoint online.

• Report extraction and automations to support different metrics, that are maintained in the applications.

• Work with Stakeholders on the enhancements in the existing applications.

Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting

• Workout budgetary estimates during kick off, after understanding the high-level requirements.

• Support the team in project planning activities, identify risks proactively, escalating thru appropriate channels as required and responsible for closely tracking the actual efforts

• Communicate regularly the status of Projects, risks that creeps, impediments if any.

Design

• Familiar with Microsoft Visio, Word to create HLD, LLD, DLD in various stages of SharePoint site development and maintenance.

The ServiceNow Engineer works with moderate supervision, acting independently to remediate reported issues, translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems including the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information systems. He/She works with other developers to help determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements. Projects he/she will be involved with utilize the Service Now platform and may include new code construction, modifications to existing modules, and/or package implementation. Incumbents apply disciplined software development processes and utilize leading edge technologies to engineer and implement their automated solutions to business problems.

Responsible for acting both independently and as a team member to translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested, and deployed ITSM solutions on the service-now platform. Initial primary areas of focus include:

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience with JavaScript development

3+ years of experience with Service Now development

Thorough Knowledge of Service Now platform including implementing business rules,development of service catalog items, UI Policy,workflows etc.

Thorough Knowledge of RESTful Webservices

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills

Experience with HTML/CSS & MySQL is desirable

ITIL V3/V4 Certification would be huge plus

ServiceNow Developer/Administrator experience would be huge plus
