The Regional Security Director AP & MENAT for Cytiva is responsible for maintaining and building upon the already established enterprise security strategy, programs and policies to ensure protection of the company and its reputation, its people and its assets from all security related hazards.

This position is part of the Global EHS Security and Business Continuity department located in India and will be a fully remote position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the Security organization in the region and be a key advisor to the Chief Security Officer, to drive company-wide security and crisis management objectives.

  • Protect the company and its reputation, its people and its assets from all security related hazards within the company in accordance with the Cytiva Beliefs, Security Policies and its Operational Standards in a fluid security environment.

  • Management and implementation of strategies which are based upon six key pillars of SRCM function:

  • Risk and threat assessment

  • Crisis Management

  • Brand Protection

  • Security Operation, Security regulatory compliance, & Investigations

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Have extensive experience in conducting security operations including physical security, investigations, personal protection and crisis management. Significant technical understanding in security issues.

  • Strong management skills: high organizational skills, ability to convince the high-level managers in the region, team spirit, ability to work in a matrix-type structure.

  • Good knowledge of the region, the sites and the local security structures (police..), good understanding of Cytiva rules, business priorities and objectives and ability to share them.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones

  • Own relationship with local, regional law enforcement, Security Forces, and Federal Agencies.

  • Have Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in law enforcement, security or intelligence for governmental agencies or major multi-national corporations.

  • Have bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent. Concentration in management, criminal justice, law enforcement, technology, international affairs, or similar field or equivalent experience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Military/ Law enforcement background

  • Exposure in working for large multi-national Corporates.

  • Certification in security management (eg CPP, PSP, CISSP) is highly desirable
