We are seeking skilled Systems Engineering professional for our Electrical Sector products domain of Low Voltage Air Circuit Breakers and molded case circuit breaker. The person will be leading core systems engineering activities for LV Electrical products.

"• The person will be leading core systems engineering activities for LV/MV Electrical products.

• The person should have prior experience of working on Electromechanical products and should have handled complex systems including mechanical, electronics and software sub-systems.

• This role includes carrying out Systems Engineering activities for complete lifecycle of product.

• The person should have sound knowledge of developing systems architecture, conducting operational analysis, CONOPS, functional analysis and other important aspects of Systems Engineering

• The person will be responsible validation and verification of new product development including, analyzing requirements, and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, understanding complex system development methods, and reviewing component specifications.

• This role requires thorough understanding of Requirements management lifecycle including requirements elicitation and management.

• This role requires sound understanding of MBSE methodology/skillset.

• This role requires working experience on New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Tech. Introduction (NTI).

• Working in multi-geography environment will be beneficial.

• Understanding of Electromechanical products like ACB, MCCB, MV CB, VI or any similar product line will be added advantage"

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Systems Engineering or equivalent

  • 6+ Yrs of experience design and development experience related to electronic trip unit firmware development for LV circuit breaker (ACB and MCCB).

  • Master's degree - 5+ years or Bachelor's degree - 7+ years’ experience of System Engineering in Requirements engineering, Electromechanical System design, development, validation & launch

  • This position requires 5+ years of demonstrated Systems Engineering/MBSE/SysML/UML methodologies.

Skills:

• INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage.

• System Engineering, MBSE, Requirements management, System Architecture, Matlab.

• Drive for Results, Communication skills, Analysis-First Mindset, Passionate

• Drive and execute a new mechanical/Electromechanical system Development through Eaton PROLaunch / PreLaunch system Engineering processes.

• Added Advantage if working experience with CAD, analytical & analysis tools (Creo, Matlab/Simulink, AmeSim, MathCAD)

• Should have proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques.

• Prepare and manage schedule and project cost working closely with Project Lead/Manager

• DFSS GB certification / deployment is preferred."

"• Practitioner in Systems Engineering, with hands-on SE experience pertaining to multi-disciplinary systems.

• Hands-on experience on Requirement Management tools like JAMA, DOORS, or any similar tool.

• Practitioner on MBSE with hands-on experience on MBSE tools including SysML modeling tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Capella or any other similar tool.

• Sound knowledge of development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing

• Influence the continual improvement of the systems engineering capability, including the evolution to a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.

• Execute System Architecture ideas and demonstrate feasibility through relevant engineering calculations / predictions.

• Exposure to industry standards like IEC15288 is desirable.

• Develop company best practices and use to create system/sub-system architectures and the decomposition, allocation of requirements into sub-systems.

• Execute system engineering work while driving continuous improvement to fulfil project, system KPIs and meet customer satisfaction"
