Job Title: Packaging Operator

Job Description

As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for various end-of-line tasks. These include packing finished products into boxes, constructing new boxes, loading pallets with completed boxes, and using a manual pallet jack to move these pallets. You will rotate through different stations during your shift to handle these responsibilities.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HAGERSTOWN, Maryland.

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled food manufacturing facility, set to 42 degrees. It is essential to wear appropriate layers such as sweatshirts (no hoods), sweaters, thermals, sweat pants, jeans, and heavy work pants with layers underneath. Safety shoes are required, with a recommendation for composite toe over steel toe. The company will provide a smock, gloves, hard hat, face shield, and hearing protection. The shift typically involves working 6 days a week with mandatory work on Saturdays and one Saturday off every month if business allows. A shift differential of $0.25 is provided for the 2nd shift. Typical hours range from 48-55 hours per week.
