Amazon Automation Infrastructure Engineer, Annapurna Labs in Haifa, Israel

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and implement state-of the-art SW solutions and automation infrastructure for multiple SW projects

  • Develop SW in Innovative AWS cloud computing environment

  • Collaborate with team leaders, SW developers, product managers, and QA engineers on a daily basis

  • Provide service and support for developers

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 1+ years of automation frameworks and tools building experience

  • Experience programming with Python or at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

  • Experience in SW design and object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of overall software system architecture, scalability and secure SW development.

  • Experience with cloud computing architectures and web services, preferably AWS.

  • Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest.
