Job Title Factory Quality Specialist

Duration: 12 months

Salary £28-£32k, Depending on Experience plus companywide benefits.

Position Summary

Specialists in Quality & Food Safety take great pride in their work and are passionate about using their skills to ensure products are safe to eat and share the consistent appearance, taste and texture which our consumers expect.

All Nestlé factories are responsible for producing goods, which meet the exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and quality, which are the hallmark of every Nestlé product. That is where the Nestlé quality team comes in. We are the champions of quality across the factory. Our job is to ensure that our products always meet the expectations of our consumers.

Nestlé Halifax Factory in West Yorkshire is the home of the iconic confectionary brand Quality Street amongst several other well-known brands such as After Eight, Rolo & Munchies. These are produced through controlled process plants and automated filling and packing lines.

A Day in the life of a Quality Specialist

This role is a Factory based role where the successful candidate will support and learn from activities within operations and with a view to being developed and if successful succession planned into permanent management level roles within a factory.

What will Make you successful?

An appetite for learning new skills around compliance, project management, problem solving and digital tools. Strong people skills are essential due to having to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
