Blue Marble Geographics is seeking to hire a 3D web software developer with experience using visualization technologies such as WebGL, Canvas, and the threejs API to display very large GIS datasets. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to develop high-quality code in a team environment. Development tasks will require an intimate familiarity with modern web development frameworks, 3D data viewer technology, and a strong familiarity with Cloud-based architecture and infrastructure.

Requirements of this Role:
- Web development using HTML5 and Javascript
- Visualizing complex 3D GIS datasets in a web-based architecture such as WebGL, Canvas, and the threejs API
- Java, C#, or C++, and OpenGL development
- Web development using .NET WebAssembly platforms.
- Experience in GIS is desired; strong mathematical/spatial skills will be equally considered.
- Preferred working knowledge of Azure Cloud-based infrastructure.
- Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and implement large projects.
