Your Responsibilities
Are you ready to set sail into a rewarding career as a Senior Controller professional in our Controlling/FP&A department? Join our dynamic team and take charge of providing financial insights, reliable data, and analysis.
We are seeking a professional with training in finance, management, accounting, or any relevant related field, with controlling professional experience between 5 to 8 years. Knowledge or experience within the maritime industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
If you are very comfortable with MS Office tools [MS Excel is fundamental] and also having knowledge or experience in Oracle/Hyperion and QlikView and/or Power BI then come aboard and chart your course to success with us!
The function comes with strong and deep responsibilities that go from organizational activities to the preparation of reports and presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
Provide support to the teams related to finance, organizational activities, reporting, and metrics in a timely and accurate manner
Partner with the finance team and the Brands’ Controlling/FP&A groups to collaborate on business reviews, metrics, and goals
Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions; develop and control key performance indicators
Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
Identify and investigate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Work on corporate, local or brand projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization
Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
Develop and maintain successful relationships with the stakeholders and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
Review and design finance procedures to optimize and improve effectiveness
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field is required
At least five years of experience in finance, management, controlling or accounting or a related field
Having a strong experience in developing financial reports, metrics, and presentations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different management levels
Powerful Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory. Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, QlikView and Power BI is desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
Ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication and to drive projects across an organization
Very good English (English is our company’s official language). Any other additional language is a plus
