UC HEALTH LLC Assistant Radiology Technologist, First Shift in Hamilton, Ohio

UC Health is hiring a full-time Assistant Radiology Technologist for the MRI Department at West Chester Hospital. An Assistant Radiology Technologist will support West Chester Hospital's MRI Department and perform a variety of duties to maintain an orderly, clean, and safe environment to ensure the efficient flow of patients through the exam room. Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 2 years of equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Enrollment in a radiology technology program is preferred.

  • Communicates in a clear and appropriate manner with patients and staff while being able to identify and respond to varying needs according to the situation.
  • Assists in the coordination of diagnostic examinations and patient care.
  • Engages in procedures by preparing and explaining procedures to patients, moving patients, engaging in post-procedural care, and providing support to both patients and families.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment while maintaining a variety of inventory supplies.
  • Aids staff in preparing contrast administration with labels for both oral and IV contrast.
  • Supports department workflow by using EMR and PACS and also assisting with clerical duties when necessary.
