Stryker Imaging Specialist - 12/18-month contract in Hamilton, Ontario

What you will do:

The Imaging Specialist will work directly with Marketing Leadership and the Enabling Technologies Product Manager. This individual will be the resident expert in all aspects of imaging sales, installation, and training and a trusted resource for the selling team. They will apply their knowledge of radiation safety to all clinical applications while complying with all local regulatory requirements, including licensing, certification, and other mandatory training. The successful candidate will be expected to act as a brand ambassador to elevate Stryker’s brand in the imaging arena within Canada and must serve as a contributing member of the Spine and Enabling Technologies marketing team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values

You will

Manage the logistics for our imaging business, including:

  • Work closely with all related parties, including field service for personnel and equipment availability from delivery to integration and training for end users

  • End user communication and management for logistics

  • Site readiness and viability assessment pre-delivery

  • Inventory management, availability, and configuration/readiness

  • Ensure all activities, including trials are pre-qualified and approved by sales managers

  • Collaborate with Marketing for demand planning, forecasting and market intelligence

  • Provide monthly metrics as determined by manager

  • Identify efficiencies in equipment handling - reducing cost in shipping, repairs, and service location capabilities

  • ProCare contract management and development of future plans to drive profits as needed

  • National Biomed management – including training, RFP Q&A and proactive sales activities

  • Develop and provide end user training for trials, installations and existing customers in need of refresher training at the discretion of Sales Leadership

  • Maintain a high level of Canadian-specific market knowledge and business development activities

  • RFP creation for sole source award and RFP specification ownership

  • Lead market viability activities related to new imaging product launches or strategic partnerships

  • Cross divisional marketing activity participation where it relates to imaging placement or inclusion

  • Provincial KOL relationship development as it relates to specialty

  • Procedural and content creation of technical workflows, imaging and radiation procedures and clinical walkthroughs

  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned

  • Respond to routine inquiries for information

  • Other duties as assigned

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or,

  • College Degree in Medical Radiation Technologyplus 2+ years of work experience required

  • Completion of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program required

  • Current CAMRT membership is required

  • Experience as a superuser, student preceptor, or clinical apps specialist preferred

  • Experience using a variety of PACS and EMR programs is preferred.
