Janicki Industries Inc. Aerospace Auditor/Quality Analyst in Hamilton, Washington
Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who enjoys auditing processes and projects! This individual should be someone looking to grow their career and take on additional responsibilities, including mentorship of personnel through the process. Aerospace experience is a plus, but the ideal candidate has experience auditing within a highly regulated industry (medical, food manufacturing, energy, etc.)
This position reports to the Director of Quality assists in the execution of many facets of the Aerospace Quality Organization. In addition to auditing throughout the organization, this role will compile data for management decision makers, train co-workers in the Quality Management System (QMS) and perform a variety of other QMS functions. There are multiple tasks that may be required to perform within this position while working both individually and within a team. These will be determined based on specific departmental goals and emerging needs.
The following essential job functions may be performed as a Quality Assurance Analyst/Aerospace Auditor:
- Leading internal and external audits to Aerospace Standards, Nadcap and Customer requirements. Internal auditing is a core function of this position.
- Participate in the Nonconformance, Corrective Action, Process Deviation and Document Control processes.
- Work with program teams on quality metrics and participates in improvement initiatives.
- Provide training to enable employees to meet consistent quality standards.
- Retrieve, review, and analyze QA data.
- Write, revise, review and process changes to Quality documents to determine if they will conform to contractual, Aerospace or QMS requirements.
- Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
- Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
- Should have a minimum 2-5 years of manufacturing experience with practical application of Quality Assurance. Previous Quality Assurance experience in commercial, military or aerospace (AS9100D, Nadcap) is a plus.
- Previous experience creating and working with Quality documentation is strongly desired.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact positively with a variety of internal and external constituents.
- Must have strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Should possess reasoning ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary range for this role is between $68,000 - $85,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered
