About this job

The Client Business Partner is responsible for all client activity and overall success of NielsenIQ at the client. This includes driving timely outcomes and client value (client satisfaction) through the analytics delivered that support NielsenIQ's ability to achieve revenue goals. Accountable for overall client financials and team development. Works successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model. Essentially the general manager of client or assigned clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage operating plan for assigned client

  • Identifying sales opportunities for NIQ Services and Solution to help client and achieve strategic objectives and NIQ operating plan

  • Building and maintaining strong networking and C-suite engagement with key players at client and leading discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners

  • Developing external Joint Business Plan with client

  • Creating internal Joint Business Plan with Sales Leaders & Practice Areas

  • Management of client contract

  • Building and managing client relationships to ensure client stakeholders are aware of outcomes and value NielsenIQ is delivering

  • Coaching on-site Client Consulting team to ensure timely outcomes and value is delivered to client via analytics delivered

  • Partnering with Sales Leaders and Practice Areas to enable them to achieve sales goals

  • Gaining familiarity with NielsenIQ portfolio and inter-connectivity of different solutions

  • Promoting NielsenIQ through presentations at conferences and similar external events to cultivate specific new client leads and opportunities among existing clients

  • Working collaboratively with Practice/Retail Analytic Consulting teams to ensure all work is connected to client business issues, is delivered on-time, and focused on outcome

Professional Development

  • Continue to build financial acumen managing all NielsenIQ financial aspects for assigned client(s)

  • Provide guidance and coaching on determining ROI of NielsenIQ recommendations and solutions

  • Continue to develop consultative approach to client business issue, understanding the industry and what issues a client's C-suite is facing

  • Successfully manage stakeholder personas to overcome barriers to purchase

Scope

  • Operating Plan Target Responsibility: Direct, actively achieving quarterly and yearly targets

  • Sales Target Responsibility: Indirect, achieving sales targets contributes to ability to hitting operating plan

  • Key external interface relationships: Client C-Suite, buyers and influencers

  • Key internal interface relationships: Regional Leaders, Sales Leaders, Practice Area Sales team, Internal Leadership including Legal, HR, etc.

  • Number of employees managed: 5-10(Indirect or Direct)

Qualifications
  • College/University Undergraduate or Master's Degree
  • 10+years industry experience - CPG, consulting, information, technology and analytics
  • Demonstrated strength in analytics
  • Experience working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution, including developing C-suite relationships
  • Experience in management and coaching
  • Highly proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office
  • Financial Management Experience, preferred
  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ solutions, preferred
  • Proven track record of building client engagement, preferred
