Gaming Floor Supervisor

HOURS: PART TIME; MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS, WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS. *WAGE: *$16.00 OR DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide back up and guidelines to dealers of all games.
  • Monitor all play and regulate player ratings along with being instrumental in customer service.
  • Provide superior customer service to internaVexternal customers
  • Perform scheduled audits for blackjack tables along with tracking chips and players
  • Operate computer in pit area
  • Perform evaluations on a daily, 30/60/90 day, and annual basis of all gaming employees as requested and assigned
  • Schedule pit rotation
  • Knowledge of Title 31
  • Complete necessary tracking of players for Title 31
  • Follow procedure to open and close all table games
  • Perform initial procedure violations of dealers and pass on to Shift Manager for approval
  • Maintain close communication with surveillance department and other departments within casino
  • Settle disagreements between dealers and customers.
  • Explain the rules of the games to customers, including different games offered in live-action as well as tournament games.
  • Knowledge and ability to explain standard betting terminology to customers.
  • Complete accurate ratings on customers.
  • Fill in as a dealer as needed and requested.
  • Attend all meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: *High School Diploma or G.E.D. *Experience: *Must have minimum of 1-year experience dealing blackjack, craps, poker and all specialty games. *Knowledge: *Must have knowledge of Company and Gaming policies and procedures, and Title 31. Operating knowledge of Gaming Pit computer. *Skills and Abilities: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle high stress situations as they present themselves; must have proven customer service skills, excellent math skills, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills; must be able to work any day/any shift.

  • Stand for approximately 6 hours out of an 8-hour shift.
  • Use of both hands for repetitive motion, performing simple grasping, pushing and pulling and fine manipulation.
  • Bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and rotate as needed during shift.
  • Lift a fully loaded chip tray with 300 chips weighing approximately 10 lbs.
  • Lift lid off crapshoot table weighing approximately 5 lbs.
