Reference #: 4390902 THE POSITION The Department of Labor and Industry has a Clerical Assistant 2 position open in the Office of UC Service Centers, Administrative Support Division.  The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as the primary timekeeper and perform support staff work. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Duties of this position include the following:

Maintains accurate filing systems. Acts as timekeeper/receptionist. Assembles and prepares mailings as directed. Processes daily mail. Operates fax, copier, calculator, telephone system. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours may vary depending on operational needs. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after the successful completion of the required probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes) You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
