Reference #: 4488721 THE POSITION The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is searching for a detailed and organized candidate to fill a Clerical Assistant 2 position.  This position will be responsible for processing the temporary tag application program for the Bureau.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As the Clerical Assistant 2, you will manage the temporary tag inventory for business partners and PennDOT issuing locations using the .Centric inventory system. This position will maintain an inventory of unused temporary tags that have been returned by agents and transfer them to various PennDOT issuing locations.  Additional duties involve monitoring, adjusting and replenishing temporary tag inventory levels of various PennDOT issuing locations.  Processing returns, credits, and refunds for temporary tags returned by out of business agents and delivering orders to customers for pick up at PennDOT.  You must also be able to identify customer needs, and interpret the Motor Vehicle Code, policies, and procedures to the customers level of comprehension.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 80 hours per pay period. Work hours are 6:45am to 3:15pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,929 (before taxes).
