DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Fiscal Planning and Contractual Operations Section Chief, you will supervise two (2) Administrative Officer 2 positions and a Fiscal Management Specialist 3 position, in addition to providing overall management of all contractual and procurement activities across the department to maximize the utilization of the comprehensive budget and funding received by the department.  Within this role, you will establish policies and procedures related to procurement and contractual documents and ensure compliance with Procurement Code as well as other state and federal requirements.

Play an active role in the development of the department's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) report and manage information technology (IT) contracts and procurement.  You will also act as the liaison delegate for the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) which involves preparing the department's Agency Small & Small Diverse Business Strategic Plan.  This position also participates in the development and maintenance of the department's competitive bid process.  This is a rewarding career that offers the opportunity to work with friendly and helpful staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. You will be required to report to the office one day per month and for special events as necessary. Free parking! Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.  Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 3; or Three years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
