Job Description:

We are looking to add another Mechanic to our shop. The candidate will perform all preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of coin wrap machines. These machines were custom-built by the owner, so prior experience with these specific machines is not required. The work involves troubleshooting small machines, including wrappers, gun-slings, presses, rollers, bearings, and very small motors. The role requires handling frequent mini-breakdowns and putting out fires. The Plant Manager and owner will provide guidance and training. No tools are needed as all tools are provided.

Work Environment

Shop environment (2 floors), very fast-paced, no cell phones allowed (they will be locked in lockers before entering the plant), semi-loud and very cluttered, basic PPE needed. Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week, no overtime. Pay: $20 per hour, with an increase to $22 per hour after one year.
