Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Program Analyst 3 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

The Department of Human Services (DHS), Bureau of Policy and Quality Management is actively seeking an ambitious Program Analyst 3 to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will complete analyses on Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) data sets and professionally graph and present data results and recommendations to ODP decision-makers and stakeholders so they can utilize the information to evaluate program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure progress on quality improvement activities across the service system. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Program Analyst 3, you will collect, analyze, and organize data for ODP's performance measures and other data relative to organizational goals, objectives, initiatives, and program standards. You will utilize and maintain databases and spreadsheets to record and analyze data. You will also apply statistical and mathematical methods to analyze data. You will work independently and as part of a team to produce deliverables by deadlines.

In this role, you will serve as a primary support for ODP's quality teams and their evaluation of program performance. This will include development and management of data collection tools for CMS performance measures, ensuring accuracy of data, data and information storage, data trending over time, maintaining a complex reporting calendar and data dictionary, and ensuring all materials from all presenters are ready for regional and statewide quality team meetings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You are required to report to the office in Harrisburg one 1 day per month and occasionally for meetings. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Program Analyst 2; or Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
