Job Description * The podiatry division is a dynamic surgical practice with multiple locations serving various communities. The regional practice manager role is on site in our Hartford location and does require travel between the various locations as needed. Responsible for managing multiple designated operational units to ensure superior customer service and patient care in a highly efficient and cost-effective manner. Oversight of clinical operations, provision of support to managers and coordinators responsible for day-to-day operational activities in the practices. * Serves as member of management team - collaborates on organizational business issues, communicates appropriate messages, and supports and drives corporate initiative. * Provides ongoing support and collaboration with the Service Line Director on growth and improvement initiatives * Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively managing bias Oversees all activities of the assigned operational practice - provides leadership and direction to direct reports and providers, and acts as positive role model. Drives the development and execution of short- and long-term business plans and corresponding budgets by collaborating with physician leadership and corporate administration in strategic planning and marketing for the practice. * Recommends cost-effective strategies for departments supervised through analysis of data and trends; creates mitigation plans and strategies to improve performance as needed * Identifies ways to increase profitability, maximize efficiency, productivity, and resource allocation. * Continuously identifies and implements ways to maximize efficiency, productivity and resource allocation. Responds promptly and effectively to patient and provider concerns * Support Directors in the development and execution of short- and long-term business plans and corresponding budgets in collaboration with senior leadership, monitoring progress, trouble shooting and maintaining accountability * Analyzes data reports and acts on significant trends affecting overall effectiveness of the department * Finds opportunities to grow the business through increased referrals, new or increased services, regional expansion, or other revenue-enhancing activities Travel is required * Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced clinical or business credentials preferred * Minimum 5 years medical practice management experience required * Experience with management and oversight of multiple site locations preferred We take great care of careers.
