With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. _Department Description:_ Integrated Care Partners (ICP) is a physician-led, clinically integrated health care network whose mission is to assist our members in providing the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost for our patients in the current, rapidly changing medical environment. _Position Summary:_ The Senior Contracts Administrator will primarily be responsible for acting as a resource for both internal (Patient Financial Services, Legal, Marketing and Communications, etc.) and external (Payers) stakeholders regarding HHC/ICP contracts specific to ancillary and behavioral health contracts. The role will act as the first line resource for contract related inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate. Ensure the accuracy of commercial contracts. Support ongoing payer negotiations focusing on strengthening contract terms and provisions. Position Responsibilities: 1. The Senior Contracts Administrator will primarily be responsible for acting as a resource for both internal (Patient Financial Services, Legal, Marketing and Communications, etc.) and external (Payers) stakeholders regarding ancillary and behavioral health contracts for HHC/ICP payers. 2. The Senior Contracts Administrator will be the first line resource for ancillary and behavioral health contract related inquiries escalating issues as appropriate and will assume overall accountability for ensuring resolution to issues within specified timeframes with 100% accuracy. In addition, this individual will be responsible for cataloguing payer issues ensuring that they are addressed either immediately through EPIC updates, working with the payee, or contract amendments during renegotiations. 3. The individual will be responsible for maintenance and auditing of the Epic contract loads ensuring up to date and accurate reimbursement methodology based on payer specific reimbursement. 4. The Senior Contracts Administrator will support ongoing payer negotiations focusing on strengthening contract terms and provisions. 5. This individual will be responsible for developing collaborative internal relationships across the system ensuring open communications and ideation and, specifically, working with revenue cycle on achieving optimal processes. 6. This individual will work closely with ICP staff to ensure similar workflows processes are followed such as contract reevaluations, payer updates, and any other cross-team functions. 7. The Senior Contracts Administrator will support a variety of ad hoc requests related to commercial payers. 8. This individual will represent ICP on designated key committees and task forces relating to provider contracting and payer relations within HHC. _Education:_Preferred but not required a BA/BS in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Finance or Mathematics. _ _ _Experience/Knowledge:_ * Minimum of 8 years of experience in health care related field with in depth knowledge of: * Payer/provider contracting particularly focusing on hospital, physician, behavioral health, skilled nursing, home health care, clinical laboratory and rehabilitation with a solid understanding of reimbursement methodologies, * Contract language particularly those provisions that have financial or administrative cost impacts and * Claims adjudication. * Experience in billing and coding issues is required as well as broad knowledge of health care finance and accounting issues. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional areas. * Critical thinker/problem solver who is results oriented. * Strong knowledge of Excel * EPIC experience * Independent, problem solver * Critical thinker who is results oriented * Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and work as a collaborative, team player We take great care of careers.
