Position SummaryThe Sr Manager, Project Management will support the CVS Healthspire Payor Solutions business, reporting into the centralized Project Management Office (PMO). Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. Manage large multifaceted projects; are working towards or have achieved certification in project management.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a top-level specialist in project management, providing experience-based guidance and mentorship to support successful project execution.

  • Adapt project management methodologies and best practices to meet the unique needs of each project and ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

  • Advise project teams and stakeholders on project management principles, practices, and approaches to enhance project outcomes and mitigate risks.

  • Apply highly-developed project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and monitor complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Approve project plans, budgets, and resource allocations, authorizing project initiation and ensuring adherence to project governance and standards.

  • Benchmark project performance against industry standards, best practices, and key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving excellence.

  • Check project deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure timely and accurate project completion, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed.

  • Coach project managers and team members, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to enhance work area project management skills and contribute to key professional growth.

  • Consult on project management practices, processes, and tools, collaborating with stakeholders to establish effective project management frameworks and ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications7 + years of project management, program management or related experience.

Preferred QualificationsWorking towards or already achieved certification in project management.

Experience in healthcare.

Adept at decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Adept at execution and delivery.

Education

Bachelor's degree required; will consider comparable work experience. Specialized training/relevant professional qualification (e.g. PMC) preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
