Join our team as a Learning Specialist! This role is pivotal in supporting and maintaining Learning Management System (LMS) for team members within BCAA. You’ll support team members seamless learning journey by managing learning paths, enrollments, and new hire processes on our advanced LMS. Your role extends beyond just administration; you'll also ensure the smooth operation of our catalogue and provide top-notch technical support to users, making learning a breeze for all. W hat you’ll do:

  • You will be the Subject Matter Expertof the Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Coordinate training logistics, including new hire enrollment and follow-up, ensuring compliance with required training and providingtier 1 technical support for users when required

  • Support and maintain the Learning and Development Team catalogue and intranet Site

  • Generate reports on training activities and maintain L&D Dashboards with timely data updates and insights

  • Research and recommend new learning methods (Hybrid Learning) in relation to core Insurance programs, selecting the appropriate delivery mechanisms and monitoring the training efficacy

  • Play a pivotal role in researching and evaluating a cutting-edge LMS, crafting a compelling business case, and aiding in its selection. Then, as a Subject Matter Expert and implementation lead, spearhead the seamless integration of the new system, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

  • Act as a peer reviewer during the development and production of eLearning modules and learning content

  • Provide comprehensive support for training and development operations, including troubleshooting system issues, managing team member licensing programs, coordinating responses, maintaining calendars, aligning with WFM on scheduling, and fulfilling additional assigned duties

What you bring:

  • Post secondary diploma in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Systems or information technology

  • 2 Years of Learning Technology System experience, including eLearning, Virtual learning and/or team site design and governance

  • Demonstrated proficiency of learning management system (LMS) or information systems and reporting tools within the last 3 years

  • Expertise in providing technology support for technology solutions which may include learning management systems, eLearning, virtual classrooms, collaboration technologies and the governance and methodologies associated with these tools

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to understand and support learning technologies

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

The salary range for this position is $64,265.76 to $80,322.08 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
