Carroll College Assistant Director of Admissions in Helena, Montana

Description: Carroll College seeks a self-motivated individual for our Assistant Director of Admissions. This position serves an integral role in the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students (transfer, first year freshman and graduate students) with a special emphasis on recruiting transfer students and managing special populations. Specific duties involve developing, identifying and implementing a 12-month transfer and special populations recruitment strategy, including assessing prospective first year and transfer student potential in assigned recruitment territories, implementing a variety of recruitment activities and conducting appropriate follow-up and tracking. This position is responsible for completing transcript evaluations and degree completion plans for prospective and admitted transfer and graduate students; scheduling visits, planning and coordinating special recruitment programs, including making all necessary arrangements for recruitment travel.This position will assess prospective student potential at key transfer colleges and implement a variety of outreach activities, including updating transfer and special populations marketing material, meeting with transfer advisors from two-year colleges and conducting appropriate follow-up and tracking, as well as planning and coordinating special recruitment programs. This person will develop articulation agreements and co-admission agreements with two-year colleges. In coordination with the Director of Admission and Associate VP of Enrollment, this position will be responsible for providing leadership and training to new and existing staff, participating in all on-campus, and some off-campus, recruitment programs. This position will also be responsible for participating in service and other activities to maintain positive public relations which include attending special functions, serving on college and community committees and advisory boards, maintaining positive working relationships, and assisting with other related activities as assigned. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 2 years’ experience in admissions, higher education, marketing or related field.
