Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

What your background should look like:

Sr Project Engineer (Main Tasks)

  1. Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements, scope and objectives are met.

  2. Coordinate resources with floor leads to projects that need immediate attention.

  3. Work with the project and plant managers to eliminate blockers.

  4. Ensure project quality and standards are met.

  5. Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.

  6. Create and maintain project documentation, baselines, and reports.

Job Specific Knowledge and Key skills –

  1. Schedule management

  2. Communication & Presentation Skills

  3. Understanding of business case financials

  4. Multi-tasking and time management

  5. Proficient in MS office software

  6. Minimum 4 years of related experience
