Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Hernando, Mississippi, for a CFO in the construction industry. This role includes overseeing financial operations, developing and maintaining the system of internal accounting controls, and financial reporting. The CFO will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, and will work in a commercial construction projects environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll, and cash flow management

• Develop and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting

• Carry out budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

• Utilize skills in accounting functions, auditing, budget processes, and capital management

• Perform cash flow analysis and construction accounting

• Manage construction projects

• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency in processing customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Extensive experience in Auditing

• Proficiency in Budget Processes

• Proven expertise in Capital Management

• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis

• Knowledge and experience in Construction Accounting

• Experience in handling Construction Projects

• Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality

• Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to finance and accounting

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
