Idea Entity Dynamic 365 Finance and Operations in Herndon, Virginia

Our team is currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamic 365 Finance and Operation candidate who possesses exceptional skills to join us on a short-term contract basis. This role is critical in supporting our large-scale, matrixed Dynamics 365 deployments and development projects.

This role will be operating on a hybrid schedule out of our Herndon, VA office with two (2) telework days a week. Due to the nature of this role, US Citizenship/Green Card/Work Authorization is required and is not eligible for sponsorship. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a public trust and security clearance, if deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • Lead and manage the implementation and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a focus on the finance and operations modules.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of Dynamics 365 solutions in line with business requirements.

  • Oversee financial operations within the Dynamics 365 platform, including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Drive the integration of Dynamics 365 with other business systems and third-party applications.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 solutions.

  • Facilitate user training and support, ensuring high levels of system adoption and user satisfaction.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.

  • Stay current with the latest Dynamics 365 features and updates, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Dynamics 365 are highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a strong focus on finance and operations modules.

  • Proven track record in working with large, matrixed Dynamics 365 deployments and development projects.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and requirements within Dynamics 365.

  • Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
