About the Group:

Our ADAS group is on a journey to change our way of life, reduce accidents and help those who can't drive by applying cutting edge technologies into all of General Motors vehicle portfolio Providing a complete solution requires joining domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Sensor Fusion, Signal Processing, embedded platform and Micro Controllers development.

We're looking for a senior manager, program management!

In this role, you will lead a large PgM team and develop talent throughout the ADAS PMO organization. Your technical program leadership will be at the strategic direction level with responsibilities for planning and program execution. You will help develop and lead strategic action plans to support business goals.

What will YOU do?

  • Lead a large team of group program managers, through intentional development, identification of gaps and balancing team capabilities.

  • Establish program objectives and key results (OKRs) aligned with organizational goals and objectives, subsequently communicating clear vision that inspires and empowers the team to execute.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by fostering connections beyond the immediate team, effectively bridging gaps and integrating diverse perspectives to drive collective success

  • Enable self-organizing, empowered teams to deliver products on-time with quality executions in an agile framework

  • Foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement

  • Implement and support agile principles and practices, identifying and eliminating impediments, and facilitating flow

  • Identify opportunities to drive impactful changes that create value for the business through compelling business cases, strategic communication and influencing tactics.

  • Remain current on industry trends, competitor intelligence and market research and apply to decision making and problem solving.

Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering to include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematicsor related field 

  • Over 15+ years of program management leadership experience

  • Over 5+ years of experience in automotive software development or embedded control systems or related hardware

  • Strong complex program portfolio leadership experience, with practical familiarity in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, applied where most effective. 

What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Master of Science in Systems or Software Engineering, Electrical or Master of Business Administrationor related field.

  • Change leadership experience in leading other leaders.

  • Leadership experience developing or utilizing industry standards

  • Experience working in a global team that is geographically dispersed.

  • PMP Certification 

  • Experience administrating and configuring Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
