As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll ensure accurate and efficient data management and provide exceptional support to our team. salary: $18 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Code financial transactions in accordance with the chart of accounts.

  • Review and ensure proper coding of all financial transactions to the appropriate accounts.

  • Maintain the integrity of the chart of accounts by regularly reviewing and updating account codes.

  • Assist in creating and managing a comprehensive chart of accounts to align with financial reporting requirements.

  • Enter, update, and verify data in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

  • Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.

  • Support the accounting team with general bookkeeping tasks.

  • Manage and organize digital and physical financial documents.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information.

  • Generate and distribute invoices, statements, and other financial documents as needed.

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.

  • Prepare and process payroll information.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and systems.

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
