We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk. Based in High Point, North Carolina, you will be immersed in the manufacturing industry, providing crucial support to our sales and marketing teams. This role is not sales-oriented but focuses on ensuring data accuracy and efficiency in our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support the sales and marketing teams by accurately entering data into the system

• Ensure all orders are entered correctly to maintain operational efficiency

• Utilize MS Office for data entry and related tasks

• Uphold accountability and maintain a positive attitude within the team

• Demonstrate excellent typing speed and accuracy, ideally between 45-60 WPM

• Be punctual, reliable and open to overtime if necessary

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed

• Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures

• Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data

• Secure information by completing data base backups

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Entry role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks and able to type at a speed of 45 - 60 WPM

• Strong typing skills are essential for this role

• Familiarity with MS Office suite, including Word and Excel, is required

• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in entering data is crucial

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
