The Opportunity:

Work with a team of personnel to survey and upgrade the VTC and AV Systems at Army sites in the Pacific and South West Asia Area of Responsibility (AOR). You will support the modernization and expansion, including, but not limited to, distributed Command Center Audio Visual (AV), Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Inside Plant (ISP), and Facilities Infrastructure, including racks, power infrastructure, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), rack-mounted uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), grounding, cabling, hardware, software, and any other materials required to support the modernization of the infrastructure for site facilities. Initially, surveys and engineering will be performed to provide the customer with the optimal solution.

This role requires 50% international travel.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior AV Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our project. Your responsibilities will include surveying existing facilities/systems, designing, installing, and turning up the systems for the end customer. You'll play a key role in ensuring the survey, design, installation, and test processes run smoothly. Your work will also involve developing documentation, participating in reviews and Government meetings, and collaborating with subcontractors and Government customers. Importantly, this role offers significant potential for growth as you succeed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BA/BS + 7 YRS exp

  • Experience working in an AV Engineer role, including large video wall display solution

  • Experience developing Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP) with MLOM/ILOM

  • Working knowledge of how various vendor products interconnect and configure to work seamlessly.

  • Networking experience in setting up switches and routers.

  • Has worked on survey teams and understand the process from survey through design

  • Leading a team of technicians/installers, including supervision

  • Good presentation, communication, and writing skills

  • Can work with a team of personnel successfully

  • CCNA or equivalent certification

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
