Robert Half Funding Reconciliation Specialist - AP in Highland Hills, New York

Description

We are in the process of hiring an Entry Level accounting candidate for our Payroll Services in Highland Hills, OH. The person in this position will be primarily responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing strategies for funding processes. This involves working closely with Service and Implementation teams and maintaining metrics related to various systems.

Responsibilities

• Regularly extracting files from assigned VMS systems

• Determining the best method to utilize VMS systems for funding and true up processes and documenting for execution

• Educating external clients and internal employees on funding processes

• Assisting in completing true ups routinely to ensure accuracy

• Working closely with Service and Implementation teams on prospects using VMS systems

• Maintaining metrics related to these systems

• Using strong research skills to identify current and prospective clients that work with VMS systems

• Utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook for various tasks

• Applying problem-solving skills in a team environment as well as independently

• Leveraging knowledge of Finance or Accounting functions to recommend and implement strategies.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Experience with finance, including accounting functions and reconciliations.

• Ability to implement strategies and ensure accuracy in tasks.

• Familiarity with metric reporting and using Microsoft Office Suites.

• Expertise in using EO/IR systems and managing QA.

• Skills in research and ability to handle payroll services.

• Experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field is preferred.

• Proven track record of managing office operations efficiently.

• Ability to handle confidential information.
