Lockheed Martin Aero Field Sustainment Engineering Services Senior Manager in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

The Aeronautics Field Support (AFS) Engineering Services Senior Manager owns the execution of AFS contracts that deliver sustainment engineering services at customer sites. The individual is responsible for both the business (financial) and technical performance (EVM) of internally and externally contracted activities. Duties include working with both LM program offices and customer contacts to define requirements, develop proposals and execute solutions. The individual will lead teams responsible for finding technical solutions for our customers, creating and implementing staffing strategies, developing and training employees and managing all aspects of a self-sustaining off-site business operations at global locations. Approximately 20% of the incumbent’s time will be on travel supporting remote locations, organizational Off-sites, business reviews, and/or other travel requirements. Per the F-16 Falcon Enterprise contract, the incumbent is required to reside within 75 miles of Hill AFB and no more than 50% of their time will be spent teleworking.

Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

• Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements to include the following: Supply, Provisioning, Technical Publications, Field Services, Mods/Maintenance Repair and Operations, Support Equipment and Training.

• Experience working directly with military and/or foreign customer/partners

• Experience leading large Aerospace teams

• Experience integrating with various Engineering disciplines (i.e, software, structural, systems, mechanical etc.)

• Experience directing large teams accountable for cost, schedule, quality and associated metrics

• Experience briefing General-officer, Director and/or Vice President level customers.

Desired Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• Program Management experience

• Engineering experience

• Logistics background

• Experience/understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or familiarity with AS-9100 / equivalent standards and compliance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
