Position Overview

We are seeking Senior Systems Engineer to support Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) programs at Hill AFB (Layton, Utah).

Primary Responsibilities

Perform senior level electronics engineering services as well as p rovide technical leadership of engineering team

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with Nuclear hardening of electronics, and electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility

• Experience directly managing contract workloads with emphasis on one or more of the following:

• Requirements, design, production, and sustainment of mechanical, electrical and power-related equipment

• Design, modification, production and sustainment of ground vehicles and munitions handling equipment

• Experience working with technical baselines, providing technical analysis and generating well-crafted technical inputs

• Experience building models, performing complex engineering calculations, developing solutions and assessing design qualifications

• Experience with and knowledge of:

• Clearly articulating program technical requirements and providing technical advice to the PM

• Independently identifying and coordinating resources to achieve program milestones

• Independently managing the programs technical baseline

• Planning and leading technical meetings

• Review and conducting technical analysis

• Providing technical leadership over engineering activities

  Education/Experience  

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline and 10 years' experience and/or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is required to fulfill this position. 

• Candidates who are in the process of obtaining a relevant bachelor’s degree will be considered if timing of obtaining bachelor’s degree coincides with hiring and start dates.
